About Disha
We are a school for underprivileged children operating under the aegis of Jyoti Development Trust. Since 1993, we have impacted the lives of thousands of people in the surrounding areas of IIT Kharagpur by admitting underprivileged children from rural areas of West Bengal every year.

We ensure our children's growth by providing them mainstream education, residential facility, healthcare, entrepreneurial skills, grass root connection, extracurricular activities and entertainment.

A significant part of our community comprises the IIT students, teachers and staff who contribute generously by donating supplies, organizing fundraisers, and volunteering to engage with our students
